Sustainability

Sustainability that moves people

(01)

As providers to the luxury sector, we are continuously on the lookout for new materials and techniques to meet the needs of our increasingly discerning and creative clientele. This motivates and drives us to meticulously scrutinise our production processes, striving to continuously improve our practices, minimise our environmental footprint and maintain a delicate balance between acknowledging our interdependence with stakeholders and upholding the unparalleled exclusivity and prestige of our products.

B CORP CERTIFICATION

Our path to
B Corp certification

b-corp

In keeping with the principles of the Rotolito Group to which our company belongs, we have initiated the journey towards B Corp certification – a challenging path demonstrating our steadfast commitment to continually improving our positive social and environmental impact.

We firmly believe in the Group’s commitment, but above all, we are driven by a deep desire to evolve alongside our Clients and stakeholders. By working together, we aim to redefine entrepreneurial mindsets, promoting new ways of conceiving the prestige, beauty and prosperity at the heart of what we do.

The year 2023 marked a turning point with the initiation of a BIA assessment, culminating in the publication of our first Group Smart Evolution Report. This milestone represented an important step towards ensuring the transparency of information flows across the entire Value Chain and an invitation to our stakeholders to join us in a virtuous and harmonious path bridging sustainability and beauty.

Responsible choices to create sustainable beauty

We invest in technology, processes and materials to create prestige and sustainability

Our workmanship must primarily align with the standards of quality, visual appeal and functionality characteristic of Brands operating in the luxury sector. Hence, we are committed to identifying techniques and processes that are sustainable or, at the very least, have a low environmental impact, while still ensuring the aesthetic performance demanded by our clients and true to our mission: true Beauty exists if it creates pleasure without inflicting harm, neither now nor for future generations.

Although we work with countless materials every day, paper continues to be our primary raw material. It possesses the versatility to satisfy all creative expectations while at the same time guaranteeing outstanding environmental performance when certified. Hence, we focus our resources and attention on a selection of papers from controlled forests with FSC® (FSC-C019238) and PEFC (PEFC/18-31-116), thus ensuring the responsible and sustainable management of our forests.

Even when it comes to packaging, varnishes and inks, we strive to use those with the lowest environmental impact: UV varnishes, vegetable BIO inks made with vegetable oils, packaging made from recycled and recyclable raw materials.

We measure our performance against ESG platforms like EcoVadis, Climate Partner and Smeta SEDEX, striving every day to minimise our energy consumption, reduce our water usage in printing processes and improve the quality of work and life for both our employees and partners. Our stakeholders are located in every continent on the planet. We collaborate and evolve with them in the knowledge that interdependence is inherently global.
