A limited edition inspired by the work and poetry of Alighiero Boetti. The magnetised concertina folder is covered in red cotton cloth. The magnetic panels house movable square letters, using which the player can recreate their own version of the artist’s famous chequered phrases.

A wooden square is applied to the red canvas on the cover, recalling the motifs of Alighiero Boetti’s embroidery works on canvas.

The box set contains 100 letters that stick to the magnetic panel, designed to recreate Boetti’s famous “chequered phrases.

Cobweb effect in 7 different floral-themed items

Cobweb Belmond Hotel | Nava Press

A greeting card commissioned by the luxury hotel chain Belmond, intended for guests of the Cipriani in Venice, Caruso in Amalfi, Castello di Casole, Splendido and Splendido Mare in Portofino, Villa Sant'Andrea and Grand Hotel Timeo in Taormina.

Each floral or Easter motif is enhanced by the greeting cards’ captivating cobweb effect.

Not just seven different “Italian spring” themed versions, but above all, the object’s three-dimensionality conceals and subsequently unveils the celebratory message within.

To preserve the delicacy of the cobweb effect on the front and back floral motifs, and at the same time ensure consistency and sophistication across all the different greeting cards, a skilful technique involving overlaps, die-cutting, digital printing, laser cutting and handcrafted finishing was employed.

Precious box set for the Dior Rouge Premier lipstick line

To showcase its luxurious and exclusive lipstick line, Dior enlisted the expertise of Maison Bernardaud, a master in the art of French porcelain, which majestically interpreted the vision of Peter Philips, creative and image director of Dior MakeUp.

Each lipstick case is hand-decorated with the toile de Jouy motif and is refillable. 

For the unveiling of such an exclusive product, the Maison enlisted Nava Press, tasked with crafting a scenic box set containing the exquisite case, six refills in various shades and a refined 34-page brochure.

A combination of extraordinary technique and craftsmanship masterfully translated various art forms into an object that will undoubtedly leave an indelible mark in the history of beauty packaging.

The right-hand side features a 3-level lasered pop-up with a negative reproduction of the toile de Jouy motif: a recurring motif on the cover, brochure and box.

The brochure is produced in three languages, with perfect Bodonian binding, bleed cut and 180° free opening; gilded edges in shiny gold on all four sides. On the front and back cover, two panels are applied with a wood board core, coated with Old Mill PW FSC, printed in UV LED offset featuring a toile de Jouy Cool Grey 5C motif, enhanced by gold and transparent hot stamping with embossing.

The 34-page interior is printed on the same paper in 5/5-colour UV LED offset with gold foiling.

Rouge Premier Dior

Come Stai? is the collector’s book resulting from the collaboration between Bottega Veneta and artist and designer Gaetano Pesce

At the invitation of Matthieu Blazy, the Maison’s Creative Director, the artist created the space for the Summer 2023 fashion show, which inspired the book. Produced and published by Mousse Publishing, it faithfully reproduces the artist’s concept of the object, expressing the search for individuality, diversity and uniqueness.

Every cover of the 1700 copies produced is handmade by the artist, just like the Come Stai? chairs, the production of which is largely documented in the book by Stephen Shore and Sander Muylaert.

The artist's book revisits the concept that inspired the design of the Come Stai? chair, presenting an unconventional diagonally cut profile with a cover crafted from Bottega Veneta's ice-white, horizontally textured canvas. The unique characteristic is the resin casting on the cover, meticulously applied by Gaetano Pesce in various colours (yellow, pink, blue, red, green). Every cover is thus a unique work of art.

The 3 wearable invites were produced in Repap stone paper, made from an innovative mixture of stone powder and resins, waterproof and soft to wear, simulating the texture of fabric.

The three invites – hat, shirt and trench coat – are not only perfectly wearable but were also made in three different sizes (S-M-L) and could thus be personalised for each invitee. They are presented folded like conventional garments and packaged like real invitations.

The six-monthly publication printed by Nava Press and founded by Martina Mondadori Sartogo, delves into each individual's intimate relationship with home interiors, design and the specific poetics of a totally personal atmosphere.

Cabana's graphic identity is a tribute to the art of printing, meticulously brought to fruition by Nava through special finishes and papers, craftsmanship and careful research into bookbinding techniques, seeking to captivate and envelop readers’ senses.
